Ben Cale Mentalist

I know what your audience is thinking — and within a minute on stage, they'll know it too.

The moments I get booked for

A great mentalism show isn't measured in tricks — it's measured in the moments the audience takes home. These are the three constants:

The company skeptic

Every event has one: sitting in the back, arms crossed. By the end of the night, he's the one telling everyone how I said his phone's unlock code out loud.

The silence of 200 people

A beat before the reveal, the entire room holds its breath at once. Then — the eruption. That's the moment event producers keep coming back for.

Next week's conversation

The show ends after an hour. The argument over "wait, how did he DO that?!" carries on in the kitchenette, in the group chat, and at Friday dinner.

Two ways to bring it into your event

From Ben Cale's stage show

Stage Show 45–60 minutes · the main event of the evening

A show built entirely around your audience: the thoughts, memories and little secrets of the people in the room become the material of the evening. Interactive, smart and funny — even for those who are sure they've seen it all.

45–60 minutes 20 to 1,000 guests English or Hebrew

Walk-Around Magic among the guests · throughout the event

At the reception or between the tables: I move between small groups, half a meter from their eyes, and leave an entire table in shock behind me. The fastest way to break the ice at the start of an event.

Receptions & cocktails Small groups, zero stage Pairs perfectly before a stage show

Event producers' favorite combination: walk-around magic at the reception, stage show after dinner.

“Wait, how did he DO that?!
— the sentence heard most often in the room.

And the argument continues long after the lights come up.

After filtering through multiple other options we found Ben for my Dad's 80th birthday 🎉. The stuff he did there defies comprehension. He's also incredibly charismatic with the crowd and elevated the atmosphere so much with both WOW factor and likeability. No idea how he did what he did. Pick Ben if you want an event that everyone always remembers with awe.

Ben performed at my work place a year ago and people are still talking about it! Incredible show!

Second time we've used Ben for a family event, first time was my father's surprise birthday and this time a barmitzva. He is tremendously talented, was able to improvise when we needed him to extend his show to fill some time and is a gentleman to work with.

From a Tel Aviv boardroom to the big stages of Dubai

UK · India · Dubai · tech conferences around the world. The audience changes, the language changes — the moment everyone holds their breath stays the same.

Nice to meet you, I'm Ben

I've been doing this for over a decade: standing in front of people from all over the world, showing them that their thoughts are a little less private than they thought.

I've been doing magic since I was 12, but I actually started out as a test-prep teacher. In front of classrooms I solved a completely different kind of puzzle every day, while in parallel developing my craft as a professional magician and mentalist. A few years in, I went full-time, performing in Israel and around the world. I call it the best job on earth.

Since then, the show has taken me to the biggest companies in Israel and worldwide, to the UK, to Dubai, to a billionaire's private event in India and to tech conferences across the globe — in English (my native language) and Hebrew.

At TEDx I took the stage to talk about influence and hypnotic-style effects — and the talk sent me on another tour around the world: this time not just to perform, but to talk about how I do what I do.

The questions I get before booking

How long is the show, and what does it include?+

The stage show runs 45–60 minutes, is built entirely around your audience, and combines mind reading, influence and a lot of humor. Walk-around magic is flexible in length — usually during the reception or between courses.

What kind of effects will we see?+

Mind reading, influence and magic — alongside hypnotic-style effects you'll almost never see from other mentalists: a guest who forgets the number 7 exists, or one who becomes convinced she can't lift her feet off the floor. Effects that stun even those who think they've seen it all.

Is the show interactive?+

Completely. The audience isn't a bystander — it's the heart of the show: the thoughts, choices and surprises come from the people in the room, so no two shows are ever alike.

Can specific people be featured in the show?+

Absolutely. It matters that the spotlight lands on the right people: the bar mitzvah boy, the CEO, the guest of honor. Just as important — experience and intuition tell me who not to bring up: a shy kid, or an executive who'd rather watch from the side. That keeps the experience entirely positive, for every participant.

What audience size does it suit?+

For a boardroom or living room of 20–40 people the show is built without a stage, with everyone seated close. For a company evening or family celebration of 50–300 guests it is a 45–60 minute stage show. And for a hall or conference of 300–1,000 people it is built for a stage and a screen, so the back row still reads every moment.

Can the show be performed in English?+

Yes. English is my native language and I perform in it both in Israel and abroad — a great fit for international companies and guests from overseas.

Do you perform abroad?+

Yes, a lot. The show has been staged in countless countries across Europe and around the world — from the UK and Italy to Japan, India and Dubai — including international conferences and tech expos. Planning an event outside Israel? Talk to me.

Is the show customized for our event?+

Always. Every show is built for the audience in front of me, and segments can also be written in advance around your company, a product, or specific people at the event — from the CEO to the guest of honor.

What do we need to prepare?+

Nothing — that's exactly the point. I bring my own professional sound system, including two speakers and wireless microphones, so even if the venue has no PA — there's a show. I arrive early, set up on my own, and if needed I'll send a few simple recommendations for the room layout in advance. All that's left for you is to enjoy the event, worry-free.

What's your goal in every show?+

To create a positive memory that stays with people. I work eye-to-eye, attentive to the audience and respectful of its intelligence — aiming for the moment that, even ten years later, your guests will still talk about and try to figure out. Bottom line: to give your guests more than they expected.

How much does it cost?+

It depends on the format, location and date. Send me a message with your event details and you'll get a clear quote — fast.

What's the difference between a mentalist and a magician?+

A magician works on the eyes — sleight of hand and illusions happening right in front of you. A mentalist works on the mind: mind reading, influence and suggestion. I actually started with magic at age 12, so in my show you get both worlds — mental effects with no explanation, alongside moments that look like pure magic.
